Got Questions?

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know before booking your event — from guest minimums to deposits to what happens when it rains.

How far in advance should I book?

The earlier the better. Most weekends book up 4–8 weeks in advance, and weddings often book several months ahead. That said, last-minute bookings are sometimes possible — just send us a request and we'll let you know what's available.

Is there a minimum guest count?

Yes — 10 guests minimum for any catering booking. There's no maximum. We've served small backyard parties and large festivals; just let us know your numbers and we'll size the staffing and prep accordingly.

What's included in the per-person price?

Each package includes one whole personal pizza per guest, all ingredients, equipment, the tuk-tuk, our staff, boxes and napkins, and a service window of up to 2 hours. The Dolce Via and La Famiglia packages also include fresh Italian ice. Anything not included (like extended service or extra staff) is listed on our add-ons.

What happens if it rains?

Our tuk-tuk is fully self-contained, so light rain is no problem. For heavier weather we'll work with you on a cover, tent, or moving the setup under existing structures. If conditions are unsafe to operate, we'll work with you to reschedule at no extra cost.

How does the deposit work? When is the balance due?

A $150 refundable deposit secures your date. It's fully refundable if you cancel at least 48 hours before the event. The remaining balance is due on the day of the event — we accept CashApp, Zelle, Venmo, and Square (see Payment).

Do you travel? What's the service area?

We cover the local metro area for free. Events outside our standard radius may include a small travel fee — we'll quote it transparently when you book. Nothing is too far if the event makes sense for both of us; just ask.

What do you need on-site? Power, water, parking?

The tuk-tuk is self-sufficient: no electricity or water hookups required. We just need enough flat space to park the tuk-tuk safely (about 8×15 ft) with reasonable access — a driveway, backyard, lot, or street is usually fine. If parking is unusual (gated venue, tight backyard, stairs), let us know in your booking notes.

How long is the standard service window?

Standard service is up to 2 hours of active service after a 30-minute setup. Most events finish well within that. If you need longer (a wedding reception, multi-hour festival, etc.), add Extended Service at $85/hr.

Can I customize the menu or toppings?

The La Classica and Dolce Via packages use a pre-set topping selection (we'll share it once you book). The La Famiglia package lets every guest build their own pizza from a full topping bar — the most fun option for groups with mixed preferences. For weddings or themed events, ask about custom signature pies.

Is there a tipping policy?

Tips are never expected and always appreciated. If you'd like to tip our staff, you can add it to the final balance or hand it to the team in cash on the day of the event.
